Blackmagic MultiDock 10G is an advanced SSD dock that lets you access 4 separate SSDs via a single high speed 10 Gb/s USB C connection. Unlike cheap consumer adapters, Blackmagic MultiDock 10G has been specifically designed for the film and television industry and features a rack mount design with an independent SATA driver chip on each disk, ensuring much faster data transfer speeds. That's perfect for editors, colourists and media management on set! It can even be used for SSD compatibility on HyperDeck Extreme! Only Blackmagic MultiDock 10G gives you the industrial strength design you need for professional work. Unlike cheap SSD docking cables, the Blackmagic MultiDock 10G is a compact 1 RU all metal design you can mount in any professional rack. Each disk slot features an illuminated disk indicator so you can see when disks are being accessed. The design is also repairable so you can replace the socket connector in each slot. Simply plug into any USB C Mac or Windows computer and there is no software to install. The rear panel features 2 USB C connections and a slide switch to allow selecting between using 4 disk slots on a single USB C connection, or 2 slots on each USB C connection for shared use. Blackmagic MultiDock 10G even supports the RAID software built in to most operating systems, so you can customize your disk array for your needs. Each disk slot also features an attractive illuminated disk access indicator so you can see when your disks are being accessed.
SSDs are so incredibly fast it's no longer necessary to use RAID arrays to get enough speed for editing. That means you can add up to 4 media disks to editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro CC, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Smoke and more. Blackmagic MultiDock 10G is also fantastic for backup as you can insert mechanical hard disks into the slots and backup direct to the disks. Mechanical hard disks are used on laptop computers and are extremely large and very low cost. If you're working with HyperDeck Extreme, you can also use Blackmagic MultiDock 10G to get compatibility with SSDs for interchange between HyperDeck models.
The secret to using Blackmagic MultiDock 10G with HyperDeck Extreme is the high speed USB C port on the rear panel called External Disk. When you plug MultiDock into the HyperDeck External Disk port, it can see the SSDs and use them for recording. When using 2 HyperDeck Extreme units mounted side by side it.s possible to switch to 2 channel mode and use 2 disks with each HyperDeck. This also means it's possible to use 2 computers with a single MultiDock, one using each channel, or multiple rack mount servers can access the same MultiDock. When an SSD is inserted in MultiDock, it can be seen on the HyperDeck Extreme on-screen menus and you can select it for record and playback.
Between Editing Systems If you're working in large facilities, then Blackmagic MultiDock allows media disks to be relocated simply by unplugging the disks and walking to a new location. That eliminates slow file copying and there is no need for complex network storage. This means you get the flexibility to change and move workflow as your client demands. You can even take your job from an editing room into a dedicated DaVinci Resolve colour correction room and then move to a larger theatre style room when your client arrives to review your job. With instant unplugging of media you eliminate clunky devices hanging off cables plus you can always access the disks right from the front of the rack equipment.
If you order before 4pm, we can deliver your product the next day, subject to stock availability. You can choose a pre-10am, pre-noon or non-timed delivery (in which case we’ll deliver between 9am and 6pm). If you order after 4pm on Friday or on a weekend, we’ll process your order on Monday, and orders placed on bank holidays will be processed the next working day.

Our team take every care to get your new kit to you in pristine condition, but if an item is faulty, you’re less than delighted with it, or you’ve just had a change of plan, you have a few options…
We’re happy to swap or refund any item that is confirmed as faulty (or ‘Dead on Arrival’) within 14 days of purchase, and will cover the cost of you returning it and a replacement being shipped out. Sometimes, we’ll put you in touch with a manufacturer if we think that’s the fastest way to get you a replacement, and we’ll cover the transport costs then, too.
After the 14 day DOA period, we’ll try and get you a return or repair in line with the manufacturer’s warranty. The collection and delivery charges will be covered by Jigsaw24 and the cost of the repair will be covered under the warranty, unless an inspection shows signs of damage or misuse. Again, in some instances we may offer to put you in touch with the manufacturer, but only when this is the quickest route to getting you a repair. Your statutory rights are not affected.

You can cancel your contract within 14 days of receiving your kit, and another 14 to return it to us once the order is cancelled. Any requests for refund or credit made outside the 14 day window are at our discretion. We’ll exchange or refund any goods returned to us in full working order, but if an item isn’t faulty, you’ll need to cover the cost of returning it to us. The item(s) returned must be as new and in the original packaging. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Returning any software, even if it’s sealed in its original box, is at our discretion and will depend entirely on the individual manufacturer's policy. For example, some software will automatically allocate you a non-returnable licence, even if it is a boxed product. However, if the product is still a current part of our on-hand stock, and we’re able to confirm from the relevant manufacturer or supplier that they’re happy that licence hasn’t been allocated, we will try to take back any sealed software returned within seven days of purchase.
ESD (Electronic Software Delivery), in which you’re supplied with a licence and a web link in order to download your purchase. As there’s no physical packaging, the licence has to be treated in the same way as an unsealed box, which means we’re unable to take this back, so please double check you’re buying the right item! Products that have contact with the ear, nose or throat can only be returned for a full refund if sent back with seals unbroken and in an unused condition (you must exercise reasonable care when evaluating the product as you would in a shop).
We understand that customers may be dissatisfied with the performance of products that raise hygiene concerns after they have tried them out. If this is the case please contact us and we may be able to offer credit for another purchase (subject to inspection of the returned product) or to purchase the product back as second hand (taking into account that we would need to dispose of the item).

Unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing, the delivery times given by us are a best estimate, and we can’t be held responsible for any loss, delay or damage you may incur as a result of adverse circumstances like bad weather, traffic etc.
Any instances where you might be unable to pay your debts (winding-up, receivership, administration, creditor arrangement, bankruptcy) or you commit a material breach of the contract, we may immediately terminate our contract with you, suspend or cancel further delivery, and/or recover any unpaid items.
