The Sony RM-1BP LANC Remote Commander attaches to the pan handle of most tropds and allows you to conrol the focus and zoom of most NEX range camcorders as well as the start stop functions. The Zoom function WILL NOT work on almost all E-mount lenses because they dont have a zoom motor in but will work on the new SEL18200PZ18-200mm Power Zoom E-mount lens as long as this is supported by the camera.
