Avid Pro Tools S3 is a compact control surface and audio interface built on the same technologies that power the S6 studio and S3L-X live consoles. The S3 offers 16 touch sensitive, motorised faders, 32 rotary controllers with tricolour LEDs, and comprehensive channel info screens for each channel strip - plus the usual gamut of select, mute, solo and record-enable buttons. The S3 also houses a 4 x 6 audio interface with 2 mic preamps, 6 outputs with monitor control functionality, including cut, dim and sum to mono functionally. The audio interface part runs over AVB and is currently available for Mac only, but the IO can function as a standalone monitor controller too, supporting 2 main stereo inputs and Main and Alt outputs which can be connected to your existing interface.
S3 connects over EuCon and can work with all the many popular DAWs and NLEs which support EuCon - including Pro Tools obviously! You can also add an Artist Transport if you want the extra functionality.
