Coding in the Classroom with iPad (London)

Join us on our coding in the classroom training days to learn how to get the most out of coding with Apple. Ideal for teachers who want to brush up on their coding skills, learn new and innovative ways to teach the coding curriculum or those who are teaching coding for the first time, the sessions will be delivered by our certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist and resident Sphero expert, Graham Trick. 

As well as the expert training, all attendees will receive a full set of lesson plans  and resources to take away and ready to use in the classroom. The cost is £300 per person for the four half day sessions and the takeaway resources.

    • 18th June 2018, 1-4pm
    • Looking at the impact coding has on learning and the future prospects it offers learners; coding in the current curriculum and setting up coding in your school; developing your skills on Swift Playgrounds, Tynker and codeSpark Academy.
  • Day 2: Exploring lesson plans and resources
    • 25th June 2018, 1-4pm
    • Exploring lesson plans and resources, and further opportunities to explore and experience coding in the classroom.
  • Day 3: Coding across the curriculum
    • 2nd July 2018, 1-4pm
    • 'Think like a computer': How computer science and coding concepts can be used in other subjects across the curriculum.
  • Day 4: Coding with Sphero
    • 9th July 2018, 1-4pm
    • 'The control element': Setting up and delivering lesson plans with Sphero robots and apps, and Swift Playgrounds.
