    The Sonnet Echo Express III-D Desktop Thunderbolt Expansion Chassis for PCIe Cards enables you to connect up to three high-performance PCI Express 2.0 adapter cards to any computer with a Thunderbolt port. Imagine using full-size professional video capture, audio interface, 8Gb Fibre Channel, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and RAID controller cards with your new Mac Pro, iMac, Mac mini, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro; these rugged, portable Sonnet solutions make it possible!

    Featuring 20Gbps Thunderbolt 2 technology that provides sufficient bandwidth to support many of the highest performance and most demanding PCIe cards, the Echo Express III-D delivers maximum performance when connected to a computer with Thunderbolt 2. The III-D is also fully compatible with computers with 10Gbps Thunderbolt technology, supporting the majority of cards at full-performance.

    The III-D supports hree full-length, full-height, single-width cards, or one double-width card plus one single-width card. It has a built-in 300W power supply with 75W auxiliary power connector and was designed to be quiet for noise-sensitive environments.

    The Echo Express III is also available as a rackmount version.
