    Details

The RODE VideoMic GO is a lightweight microphone designed for suss with DSLR cameras. It features an integrated Lyre shock mount for minimal handling noise, is terminated with a minijack and a requires only plug-in power derived from the camera. It offers a tight super-cardioid pickup pattern with a frequency response of 100hz to 16kHz and a feather-like weight of only 73g.

Compact and light weight by design, the VideoMic GO delivers clear, crisp, directional audio with incredible ease of use. Its tight pickup area focuses directly in front of the microphone and reduces other surrounding sounds, ensuring that your subject is isolated from distracting background noise.

The integrated Rycote Lyre shock mount isolates your microphone from bumps and vibrations that could otherwise interfere with your sound.

Constructed from a single piece of hard-wearing thermoplastic, the Lyre provides superior acoustic suspension to traditional elastic solutions, and will never wear out, sag or snap.

The VideoMic GO has no complicated switches or settings and is powered by your camera's external microphone input, requiring no batteries to operate, ensuring you never miss a great shot.

The VideoMic GO is designed and made in Australia.

Because the VideoMic GO requires PlugIn Power from the camera, please ensure that your camera supports this. The VideoMic GO is not compatible with the following cameras:

    Nikon D7000 Canon T3/1100D Canon C100, C300, C500 Canon VIXIA HFR500 Canon VIXIA HFG20, HFG30 Canon XA-10
