Mackie Big Knob is a studio monitor controller that allows you to easily control the volume of your monitoring speakers and to switch between up to 3 separate sets of monitor speakers for monitoring comparison, and accepts a total of 4 individual input sources for your main mix, 2 2-track inputs and even an RIAA phono input.. As well as standard level control, the Mackie Big Knob also offers Dim, Mute and Mono options
The Mackie Big Knob is perfect for the project studio, as it offers features that are available on high end consoles but are often missing from project studio equipment, such as a talkback mic which can be routed to headphones and offers a talk-to-slate function allowing easy control over monitoring levels. There are 2 built in headphone amplifiers as well as a dedicated output to drive a separate headphone output if more are required.
