Red Giant Instant HD up-converts DV video into a variety of HD video formats. Choose from a list of preset resolutions to easily integrate DV video into your next High Definition production. When scaling from standard definition (SD) to high definition (HD), Instant HD's algorithms generate the missing pixels with integrated sharpening and anti-aliasing for sharp, clear results inside your favourite video application.
Five simple controls allow you to specify output size, filter types, sharpness, anti-aliasing, and quality settings, and preview your results in seconds. Integrated sharpening and anti-aliasing controls reduce the "fuzziness" and/or jagged lines that are often a telltale sign of up-conversion.
Choose from over 40 resolution presets for the most popular screen sizes, or enter a custom size to render to any resolution you like. Instant HD will automatically choose the most effective of two scaling options for your destination resolution. A Lock Aspect Ratio setting helps avoid image distortion or unnatural stretching.
