The SA 520 includes a Stateful Packet Inspection firewall designed to monitor incoming traffic and screen out unwanted data. This is combined with email security to help protect your inboxes from email threats and spam messages. This allows your business to get on with the important things without losing productivity keeping their inboxes clean.
This security appliance is managed via the Cisco Security Appliance Configuration Utility, which has a browser based management and monitoring interface. From this you can configure your security to suit you, proactively blocking or unblocking communications as desired. Then you can monitor the set up from the same utility to decide if the measures are working as you wish and to correct them if not.
