QuarkCopyDesk 9 is a stand-alone text editor for Mac and Windows users using QuarkXPress 9. Designed for writers, editors, and reviewers in mind, QuarkCopyDesk is the ideal workflow solution for smaller production environments that use QuarkXPress for page design.
By exporting your QuarkXPress layout into QuarkCopyDesk you can maintain all your layout attributes such as style sheets, article geometry, and hyphenation and justification as originally design in QuarkXPress. Reviewers and editors can see the file as the designer intended, however they will only be able to edit in the areas of the page as specified 'editable' by the layout designer.
QuarkCopyDesk gives editors the freedom to edit text, add comments and insert and manipulate (crop/ rotate) images in precise area designated without worry of spacing or margin errors. Once the file is saved, the designer simply imports the file into QuarkXPress to incorporate the changes made to the layout QuarkCopyDesk.
