The d2 Quadra ships with cables featuring 24K gold-plated contacts for high quality data transfer. The fanless aluminium design ensures the 7200RPM drive is robust and runs quietly, and with an estimated 1.2 million hours mean time before failure, the LaCie d2 Quadra is ideal for long-term file storage and ongoing projects.
The drive provides fast burst data transfer rates of up to 115MB/s via eSATA and also features USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and FireWire 800 interfaces for universal connectivity. A 32MB cache boosts the d2 Quadra's performance further, and this Enterprise Class disk has been developed with rotational vibration resistance technology for greater reliability.
Featuring a triple power management system for automatic standby mode in idle periods, the external hard drive is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certified in line with LaCie's commitment to the environment. The LaCie d2 Quadra comes with a quick install guide, manual, Genie Backup Manager Pro software for Windows and Intego Backup Manager Pro for Mac.
