Native Instruments MASCHINE is a groovebox style production instrument that combines a sampler, sequencer and multi-effects engine with a dedicated hardware controller to create an inspiring, creative and extremely intuitive music creation system.
The MASCHINE software provides all the flexibility of hardware based systems while harnessing the power of modern computers, allowing for full integration with host sequencing software, along with recall and automation. Its direct integration with the supplied hardware controller allows you to work quickly, efficiently and in realtime, and its definitely one of the most fun instruments to se on the market today! Sixteen illuminated velocity-sensitive pads, 8 rotary controllers, transport controls and buttons form an interface to intuitively make beats, tweak sounds, create patterns and sequence whole songs with the powerful MASCHINE software. All sounds can be accessed auditioned and processed and processed directly from the hardware via the two large backlit displays, enabling composition without ever touching the mouse or looking at the computer screen! The hardware also acts as a MIDI interface, so a keyboard can be connected to play in melodic instrument parts too. Native Instruments MASCHINE ships with a 5GB sound library giving you an ample palette of sounds spanning most genres.
