Vectorworks Designer + Renderworks 2012 is the ultimate package out of the entire Vectorworks range. It includes the functionality of Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals and Architect all within the one application, as well as Renderworks, offering you 3D modelling, BIM, Site Information Modelling and better collaboration and efficiency.

As soon as you have your inspiration for the design you can start to draw it out straight away within Designer, whether it is in 2D, 3D or freeform models, meaning that no design work will ever be lost. You can easily switch between tasks too making the whole design process suit you and your method of working and not the other way around.

Designer allows you to explore sustainability issues within your design. Using the inbuilt spread sheets that calculate building performance through programming analysis, detailed material take-offs and lighting requirements allowing you to maximise materials and minimise energy expenditure.

Creating stairs within your design has never been simpler. With a single click the class style can be specified for all components of the stairs, whether it be individual attributes or all of the attributes. You can also elect the maximum stair angle to ensure it complies with Building Regulations and then select whether or not to have the Top Riser or Nosing to be displayed on the stair too.

The ability to render has been improved greatly by the addition of the Renderworks module which is built upon the Cinema 4D render engine. The attribute mapping tool has been simplified which improves the responsiveness of the surface snapping, adding a new scale by centre option in the mode bar and addressing additional interface complexities.
