Venturing into CAD design for the first time and want the flexibility to design in 2D and 3D inside of one package? Vectorworks Fundamentals + Renderworks 2012 is the ideal option as the flexible and intuitive features provide you with 3D modelling, detailing documentation, presentation and integrated rendering.

Hand sketches can be imported into Fundamentals as well as site pictures and documents so you can use existing material to get your ideas going within the software. The drafting tools that are available to turn the ideas into a fully fledge design include parametric constraints that maintain relationships between elected objects, a full spectrum of dimensioning tools, fast access to frequently used settings and 2D X-Ray mode.

The addition of the Renderworks module with this version of Fundamentals opens a whole new range of presentation skills to you. Signature rendering styles can be created where the lighting , backgrounds and render settings are customised, yet can be reused again and again. Artistic styles can be applied to the design render as well as new metallic shaders.

The free form modelling within Fundamentals combined with the intuitive interface makes drafting and modelling from any 3D view easier. The modelling tools automatically infer the working plane as you move the cursor over them and the improved snapping makes drawing in 3D easier.
