Vectorworks Architect + Renderworks is an easy way to begin to integrate BIM capabilities into your workflow. You will be able to streamline costs, analyse materials, increase design efficiency and create 3D images as you create 2D ones.

The inclusion of the Parasolid modelling kernel from Siemens PLM software means you are able to create any shape imaginable and maintain a parametric model with the Dimensional Constraint Manager functionality. The association of the geometry to the dimensions offers even greater flexibility when making amendments to a design, and with one click all the elevations, 3d model and relevant floor plans are updated.

The Renderworks module is based upon the Cinema 4D render engine that provides faster and more powerful rendering capabilities. It is fully integrated into Architect so you can seamlessly transition to a rendered viewports, which update as the design changes.

The introduction of Stories in Architect 2012 makes it easier to design. The design layers can be expressed relative to a story elevation and as you edit the story elevation all the design layers within the story automatically update and adjust their respective elevations.

With Vectorworks Architect you aren't just limited to designing the building. The functionality exists for you to design the graphics, interior details, furniture, fixtures and fittings, hvac systems, so you don't have to master another software package to add the finishing touches to your design.
