The Epson Stylus Pro 9700 44" incorporates MicroPiezo drop-on-demand inkjet technology with an ink droplet size of 3.5 picolitres plus it makes use of an auto nozzle check system. This system verifies nozzle status with an installed sensor and if the print head needs cleaning, it will automatically do so. It uses no media, takes less than 15 seconds from start to finish, and can run between unattended print jobs. This improves the reliability of your printing and ensures professional results.
The Stylus Pro 9700 also uses 5-colour Epson UltraChrome with Vivid Magenta technology. These pigment inks are highly light-fast and water-resistant, so your prints will retain their colour and quality for longer, even in outdoor conditions. These technologies make this large format printer great for printing POS materials and CAD/GIS prints making it ideal for retail, education and construction industries. It is Ethernet network-ready and therefore easy to install and share across an office or studio.
