The RME Babyface 22 Channel USB Audio Interface is a portable USB 2.0 audio interface, featuring digitally controlled microphone preamps, instrument input and TotalMix FX DSP mixer in a small package that fits in your pocket. Equipped with the latest 192 kHz AD- and DA-converters, the bus-powered product delivers top sound in a neatly designed and attractively shaped enclosure.
The Babyface Interface combines excellent analogue circuit design with AD/DA converter chips of the latest generation. On top RME's famous SteadyClock ensures an AD- and DA-conversion of the highest reference quality. Both digitally controlled preamps provide individually switchable 48V phantom power. The extremely low THD+N values let these preamps surpass those of other devices that cost several times the price of the Babyface.
