The new G-Tech G-RAID is the 4th Generation of this high-speed, low-cost RAID designed specifically for professional content creation applications. Not a huge amount has changed from the G-Tech G-RAID 3 model except that the quad interface now includes USB, eSATA, FW800 and FW400 now available via the included FW800 to FW400 Adapter cable.

The G-Tech G-RAID Gen4 still comes with the impressive Oxford 396 chipset and is pre-formatted for Mac users straight out of the box, but easily re-formatted for Windows users.* Available in storage capacities of up to 4TB with an integrated thermo-regulated smart fan for long life and reliable operation all at a 7200RPM spin speed.

N.B. *The G-RAID 4TB model is not supported by Windows XP or older 32-bit operating systems which limit maximum volume size to 2TB. G-RAID 4TB is compatible with systems running Mac OS X, Windows Vista or other 64-bit operating systems.
