The Panasonic AG-HMC81 multi format tapeless camcorder records in both AVCHD and DV formats onto SD/SDHC memory cards. The AG-HMC81 features a 12x optical zoom lens, a ¬" 3MOS progressive sensor and Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS).
The AG-HMC81 achieves superb image quality as it has twice the compression efficiency of MPEG-2. Its exclusive PH mode allows exceptional quality recordings at a higher bit rate (max. 24 Mbps). In SD mode, record AVI files using the DV compression method. Using this file based system ensures compatibility with DV nonlinear editing systems.
With a shoulder mount design, the AG-HMC81 is equipped for stable shooting, XLR audio input and a BNC component/composite image output terminal for compatibility with professional systems.
