Maxon Cinema 4D Studio R13 is the culmination of all other version of Cinema 4D into one package as well as additional features, creating the ultimate offering from Maxon. Cinema 4D Studio R13 adds advanced character tools, hair, a physics engine and an unlimited clients network rendering, making it the perfect choice for professional 3D artists.

The new character features mean that you can now spend more time creating the characters and actual animation rather than hours rigging it. The new Character object allows you to create a rig for any character with it. it is based on an expertly crafter pre-set template for bipeds, quadrupeds fish and more.

The automatic mirroring allows you to adjust the rig to your character symmetrically and once you have completed your adjustment you drag the mesh onto the Character object to automatically weight and bind the mesh to the rig. Once the rig is attached to the mesh you can use the CMotion to get the character moving.

Cinema 4D Studio R13 includes a muscle object and MSkin deformer to can be utilised to create natural realistic deformations to your mesh. It provides you with full control over the shape of the muscle in all its states.

Additional features include the Physical Render Engine which allows you to create more photo realistic scenes, have accurate 3D Motion blur and utilise the physical camera settings. You can create 3D visuals by utilising the stereo camera and rendering as well as the real-time stereo display.

There is also the inclusion of advanced selecting tools, optimized HyperNURBS weighting, Axis toggle, variable-speed scaling, ClothNURBS extrusions, enhanced MoGrpah multi-shader, terrain mask shader, subsurface scattering and enhanced import and export functionality meaning interoperability into an existing workflow pipeline won't be a problem.
