The HP A5120-48G EI Switch is a versatile 48 port switch that provides static Layer 3 routing, diversified services, and IPv6 forwarding. Featuring four dual personality ports for fibre connectivity, and two expansion slots, (each of which can support two-port 10 GbE expansion modules) the A5120-48G EI represents a sound investment in networking infrastructure. The switch's broadcast control function allows imitation of broadcast traffic rate to cut down on unwanted broadcast traffic on the network, while the ability to assign descriptive names to ports simplifies the network administrator's job and makes the switch easier to manage. This switch also features a high port density, with its 48 10/10/1000 ports deployed in a compact 1U form factor.
