The PresSTORE Synchronise Module is Archiware's efficient and reliable data synchronisation software. It is a great choice for businesses looking to ensure data availability in the event of a failure of their main storage units.
Once configured Synchronise will automatically clone all data written to one storage solution - whether that is a single drive or a full SAN system - and then put the cloned data on a second system. This means you always have two copies of your data to use in the event of a problem with one set. Synchronise can clone both newly created files and folders, as well as modifications to existing files, and it performs all this on a real time basis, giving you continous data protection. The synchronised files are then immediately available if necessary meaning an emergency does not force a halt to your business.
The management utility, accessible via a browser interface, allows admins to both set up a synchronisation solution and then filter files as desired, allowing you to control what does or does not get synchronised.
The basic module allows you to use it with two servers but licences for additionals servers, or more backup drives, can be purchased. This means no matter how big your business gets, PresSTORE can keep up.
