PresSTORE Backup2Go from Archiware brings all the reliable and secure backup facilities of PresSTORE to laptops and workstations. It provides a system for remote backups from mobile locations.

Backup2Go is a backup software solution designed to be used by laptop and workstation users who are not based in one central location. Normally such users would have to return to base and connect to the main network to backup the data stored on them. With Backup2Go however they can perform these backups remotely. As soon as a connection betweek the client machine and the server has been established - via VPN for example - it can initiate a backup. Should the connection be lost part way through the backup it merely halts the procedure, allowing you to resume it at a later time without needing to restart the entire backup.

Backup2Go is designed to give you a lot of control over the procedure. System Administrators can create backup templates, control schedules and otherwise ensure efficient backups. They can also limit the use of network bandwidth or throttle CPU usage to make sure your remote users do not topple your network accidentally. To ensure security, encryption schemes can be used to encrypt the data being transferred. Access rights are also transferred so that unauthorised users cannot get access to data simply by restoring older versions.

By default Backup2Go is licensed for up to 20 workstations or laptops. However PresSTORE uses a modular licencing system and additional workstation licences can be purchased as necessary to fit your business.
