The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 3D is the portable Thunderbolt based 3D solution for the capture and playback of SDI, HDMI and analogue footage. Machined from solid aluminium the UltraStudio 3D is compact, affordable and portable; perfect for used on the go. The addition of international socket adapters to the power supply mean you can even use it abroad with out the need for 3rd party adapters.

The UltraStudio 3D supports 2 streams of full resolution up to 1080p HD; perfect for stereoscopic workflows. Media Express software is included for capturing left and right eye feeds to separate QuickTime or PPX files for dual stream 3D workflows. The new Thunderbolt ports offer transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s, 20x faster than standard USB 2.0, with low latency and highly accurate time synchronisation. The device supports uncompressed YUV 4:2:2 and RGB 4:4:4 up to full 2K resolution, so no generational loss or degradation due to lossy or heavy compression.
