TurboCAD Mac Designer 2D V5 is a drafting and design tool suited to beginners and students due to the inclusion of 500 pre-drawn floor plans meaning you can begin to realise your design ideas almost straight away.
Contained within TurboCAD Designer is an array of 2D drafting tools, including line, arc and curve tools. There is also the Drafting Assistant which automatically knows whether the construction lines are typically required and temporarily displays them. The x, y coordinates snaps for tangents and perpendicular lines allows for plans to be drawn quickly.
To help populate your drawing included within the software package are over 7000 symbols and parts including electrical and mechanical parts, bathroom object symbols, kitchen items, doors, windows, counters, fasteners, HVAC symbols and construction parts.
Door and window insertion has been simplified. With a door you can choose from one of three 2D door styles, place it in the right location and TurboCAD will automatically cut the opening. The same applies for windows. What's more you can accurately position the doors and windows by specifying the distance from the end of the wall.
