Sony SDX3-100C AIT-3 Tape is pre-labelled, barcoded data storage tape, ideal for use in tape automation systems. It has a high storage capacity of up to 260GB of compressed data (or 100GB of native data), and transfers data using efficient Helical Scan technology, at a sustained native transfer rate of 12MB/sec.
The media has proven reliability and durability due to in-built AME technology (Advanced Metal Evaporated), and allows for quick access of data via AIT's unique Remote Memory-In-Cassette (R-MIC), which is incorporated into the cartridge.
