The Quantum DLTtape VS1 is a high performance storage tape, ideal for network server back-ups, or any other data-intense applications. It has a capacity of 320GB for compressed data (160GB for native data), and writes at a speed of 8MB/sec on SDLT 220 drives.
The tape has been designed with reliability in mind and has a 30-year media life.
