The Sony HDVF-20A is a 2-inch 16:9 widescreen B/W CRT viewfinder for the HDW-F900, HDW-750, HDW-730, HDW-730S and HDC-950. It features High resolution with 500 TV lines at centre in both 16:9 and 4:3 modes. It accommodates multiple frame rates and can alternate between 16:9 and 4:3. The eye piece can be removed to allow the user direct view of the CRT. A tally lamp for the camera operator is located on the viewfinder body so it can be seen even when not looking at the viewfinder screen. It also comes equipped with a new external microphone and a marker indication of the on/off function.
