The Sony TAIT2-80N AIT-2 Turbo Tape is a high capacity compact storage tape ideal for small business data back-up. It comes as an 8mm cartridge with a storage capacity of 208GB for compressed data (80GB for native data).
A fast rate of 12MB/sec for sustained native transfer is achieved using efficient Helical Scan technology. The media also incorporates AME (Advanced Metal Evaporated) technology for a 30-year media life.
AIT Turbo Media can only be used with an AIT Turbo drive. Not compatible with standard AIT drives.
