The 8030A from Genelec is a speaker ideal for use in smaller studio environments, with it's 40 W amplifiers and shielded 5" and .75" low and high frequency drivers housed in a die-cast aluminium enclosure.
The monitors feature an MDE (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure) cabinet design, and Iso-Pod (Isolation Positioner/Decoupler) speaker mount, which improve spatial imaging and playback consistency, as well as the Iso-Pod isolating the speaker from the rumble and resonance of surface placement.
At the rear of the 8030A are 3-pin XLRs and tone control DIP switches allowing for adjustment to the room's acoustic environment, with a bass port for improved low end production.
