The Revit Architecture: 101 Rookie Training course is designed for new Autodesk Architecture Revit users to help ensure you get the very best out of your software. The course is for 3 days running from 10am to 5pm each day and aims to teach you the concepts of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and introduce the tools that utilise parametric building design into your workflow. It is important to know that an existing knowledge of CAD is necessary, but a knowledge of Architectural design, drafting or engineering experience and Windows XP is highly recommended.
During your 3 days of teaching you can expect to cover how building information modelling will enhance your work output, the basics of Revit Architecture, including exploration of the user interface, working with Revit elements and families and how to start a project. You will also cover the basic of the creating a building model, including working with intelligent objects through to creating construction drawings and schedule creation and final presentation of drawings.
There is the added benefit of receiving a Certificate of Completion at the end of your training course and the possibility to sit an Autodesk accredited exam at a later date.
