But the major reason we are interested in the Nikon D800 is the stunning Video capabilities opened up by the clean feed out of the HDMI. This gives you the ability to integrate your HD-SLR video shooting with the Atomos Ninja to shoot 220Mb/s ProRes footage straight from the sensor bypasing the horrible h.264 compression that DSLRs use to shoot to. This gives you great bang for buck in terms of quality and control with a DSLR.
