We’re pleased to announce we’ve become an e-Learning Foundation Platinum Partner! We’ll now work with the eLF to ensure that we can help give every student the best possible chance to achieve learning outcomes without getting left behind, and give teachers and parents the opportunity to invest in the latest inclusive technology through tailored donation models.
Why are we partnering with the e-Learning Foundation?
Mobile technology in the classroom is on the rise, but financial barriers are preventing some schools getting on board and closing the attainment gap. That’s where Jigsaw24 and the e-Learning Foundation come in. Between us we’ll help provide a better learning environment for students and more opportunity for parents to equip their children with the latest technology. We’ll make it easier for schools to achieve financial stability through donations based on the number of students on free school meals, additional funding the school can add, and how much parents can afford to contribute.
Valerie Thompson, Chief Executive of the e-Learning Foundation, said: “We are delighted to enter a partnership with Jigsaw24 and are very grateful for their support. Schools are increasingly looking to provide pupils with 1:1 access to tablet computers as a means of delivering a 21st Century education, and Jigsaw24 share our commitment that every child deserves this kind of opportunity, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.”
Our Founder and Managing Director Roger Whittle is equally excited by the prospect of the partnership. “Joining forces with the e-Learning Foundation is an absolutely fantastic move,” said Roger. “It means we’re now able to offer the best possible solutions to schools, with financial frameworks in place to ensure everyone gets a fair chance.”
As an Apple Solution Expert for Education, we are well placed to provide the very best technology, and help schools roll out iPad deployments through the e7 Project. This iPad pilot scheme gives UK schools the opportunity to introduce 40 iPad devices to their school environment free of charge, prior to rolling them out on a 1:1 basis.
