Canon announce the release of three new projectors, the XEED 4K500ST and two new LV models. Here’s what you need to know and when you can get your hands on them…
Canon XEED 4K500ST
Weighing in at just 17.6kg (including the lens) the XEED 4K500ST is the world’s lightest 4K projector. Its compact size can fit unobtrusively into a variety of installed environments, meaning 4K projection can become a reality outside of the cinema set up.
– High definition 4096 x 2400 LCOS panel, meaning content exceeding the resolution of 4K digital cinema can be projected.
– Capable of displaying very fine, detailed images perfect for engineering applications where computer-aided design (CAD) work and 3D modelling require high levels of detail.
– Newly developed 4K wide zoom lens, capable of projecting large images from a short distance, as well as a peripheral focusing function that enables the projection of images onto curved screens.
– Designed for a wide range of applications including simulation, medical imaging and engineering, the projector offers 4K resolution whilst being compact and lightweight.
Canon LV-WX320 and LV-X320
LV-WX320: An WXGA portable projector that delivers bright, high-quality images and is impressively compact and lightweight. HDMI, MHL compatibility and a network port offer superior value for money.
LV-X320: A XGA portable projector that delivers bright images from a conveniently small and lightweight device.
The two new LV models offer increased brightness, contrast and connectivity options, bringing bright, high-performance projection with long lamp life at exceptionally good value to corporate and educational environments.
We’re expecting the XEED 4K500ST to go on sale in early 2016 with release dates for the LV-WX320 and LV-X320 still to be confirmed. Keep checking back in for more information on release dates and pricing!
