NAMM 2015 news: Universal Audio go large with Apollo Expanded software

Universal Audio are using NAMM 2015 to announce the “biggest update to Apollo since its introduction”. The Apollo Expanded software for their Apollo series of interfaces lets users combine the DSP of their Apollo interface with that of any UAD-2 devices (PCIe or Thunderbolt) to create a much more flexible and powerful system.

For a proper insight into the Apollo Expanded package, check out this video explanation from Universal Audio European Product Specialist Wesley Bendall, via Sonic State.

Apollo Expanded will ship with UAD Software v8.0 when it’s released in March. The release will also include a new console (2.0) and new amp, distortion and AutoTune Live plug-ins.
