Mac tip of the month: Viewing previous versions

Saved over a draft you wanted to keep? Need to check amends have been made correctly? With Pages’ Versions feature, it’s easy to see the previous incarnation of any of your documents. Here’s how to do it.

1. Open your document and make your changes.

2. Hit save.

3. Close the doc.

4. Reopen you Pages document and click on the filename at the top of the window.

5. From the drop down menu that appears, select ‘browse all versions.’

6. Scroll through all your previous versions until you find what you’re looking for.

7. Rejoice.
