Over the last few years, iPhone and iPad have become the accessory of choice for busy professionals, and Macs have made their way out of design departments and into offices and retail environments. And while it’s great that more people are getting to experience the simplicity and reliability of OS X, we worry that sometimes people don’t know how to make the most of their Macs, or how simple it can be to get them working on PC networks.
That’s why we’ve started offering Discovery Days. These sessions give you the chance to work with our team to scope out the full possibility of your Apple estate, whether you’re already up and running or are just beginning to consider investing in new kit. Our aim is to help your integrate Apple into your current infrastructure and working practices with the minimum of disruption.
What does a Discovery Day cover?
One of our experienced Mac/PC integration specialists will come to your site and:
– Assess your current landscape.
– Assess your storage capacity.
– Assess your mobile devices.
– Check that your security policy for Apple devices follows best practices.
– Advise on support options for your Apple devices, whether OS X or iOS.
Basically, this is your chance to pick the brain of someone who’s been working with Macs for 20 years in order to see what you could be doing with your setup. You’ll receive a full report of our recommendations, plus a roadmap for development, so you can move toward a more seamless, managed and secure Apple estate.
And if you’re just getting started with Apple…
We offer a range of services designed to help you work out where a change of tech would benefit you most – and convince your board that it’s time to make the switch. These can include:
Day in the life studies – profiles of your current practices to identify where new technology will give the most benefit and fastest ROI.
Project on-boarding – as well as documenting our recommendations for your team, we can create proposals and presentations for board-level approval.
Proof of concept trials – if you don’t want to commit to a full rollout straight away, we can design and supervise Mac and iOS device pilots, as well as providing early deployment support if you want to carry on.
Training – we can provide Mac switcher training for end users, technical training for first line support technicians and even update training on the new tools that come with each iteration of iOS and OS X.
