We recently opened our new Soho service and customer experience centre, and to celebrate we had Adobe over for a series of exclusive workshops. The Lunch & Learn events were a great way to check out how all the latest features of Creative Cloud can benefit creative workflows, ask Adobe and us any questions you may have had and, of course, get a bit of lunch too.
Adobe’s Neil Stevens kicked things off on the 18th November with an exclusive video and post-production demo. We looked at features in Premiere Pro designed to help enhance workflows like Search Bins and Consolidate & Transcode. There was also a special piece on Gone Girl, which was cut solely using Adobe’s Premiere Pro CC software.
The week after, our event focused on design applications and workflows. Adobe expert Tony Harmer talked us through the new design products in the 2014 release of Creative Cloud and demonstrated how these new tools and features will help designers enhance their workflows. Our event gave guests a chance to learn more about the mobile CC apps and how these have a real role in the design process.
On the 3rd December we looked at digital imaging with Adobe’s expert Richard Curtis. During this event we looked at the new features of Lightroom, Lightroom Mobile and Photoshop for real world image editing, design and 3D. Richard ran through how to make your photos look amazing while working on the go with Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile. We also covered off the past few releases of Photoshop CC in Creative Cloud and walked through the new features and services that are now available within Photoshop CC for photographers, 3D artists and designers.
We wrapped things up with Rupert Knowles‘s excellent web solutions and workflows demo. Centered around “Creating engaging interactive content for the web” we looked at how the latest updates to Creative Cloud empowered graphic designers to create compelling websites and web animations without the need to code. We also looked at how Creative Cloud improves the design developer’s workflow and Rupert demoed and discussed Adobe Edge Animate, Muse, CC Extract and SVG.
We’d like to give a big thank you to everyone who managed to come along to the Lunch & Learn sessions. You all helped make them a lot of fun, and we hope you found them useful. We’ve added some comments from the day and a cheeky photo below, so see if you can spot yourself!

If you’re reading this and feel you missed out on getting that burning Creative Cloud question answered by an expert, and ultimately missing a free lunch, don’t worry – we’ll be holding plenty more events with Adobe and more of our tech partners in Soho as well as across the UK, so keep an eye on our events page to sign up for future sessions.
