If you want to thank us, say it with watercolours

Freelance artist Alison Fennell has been buying her printer supplies from us for three years, and was so pleased with our customer services team she decided to send them a few free samples of her work.

Clearly she knows us well, as her selection included a picture of a giraffe (its inflatable cousin holds pride of place in our office) and a mournful turtle which sparked a fight for ownership between three of the marketing department.

“For the last three years or so I have been buying my Epson R2880 inks from you, and you have given me sterling service all that time,” Alison wrote. “You have never let me down and always delivered so promptly, which as a small business [owner] finding her way has been key,” Alison told us.

And Alison’s gallery, Eastwitching, has been going from strength to strength – partly, we like to think, because of its ready supply of ink. Over the last three years Alison’s work has featured in many UK and USA home decor magazines and been licensed by several well-known UK card and print publishers including, Paperlink UK and Beechwood Publications. In early 2014 The Museums & Galleries Collection launched a range of twelve of her animal designs as cards and notecard sets under the name of “Alison’s Ark”, and Dunelm released a collection of twelve of her animal prints at selected UK stores in March.

We’re obviously pleased as punch that we have some beautiful watercolours to brighten up the office, and want to say thank you very much to Alison for such a lovely gesture! We also want to make the rest of you jealous, so here are a few of our favourite pieces:

You can see more of Alison’s work at www.eastwitching.com (she also gives you the chance to win a free animal print every week, so we’re attempting to) and at www.eastwitching.etsy.com.
