What did they need?
A future-proof mixing and recording environment for their new audio room.
How did we help?
We scoped out, installed and configured an Avid S6 control surface for them. In addition, we arranged the pre-flight of a HP Z series workstation with HDX 8x8x8 I/O, Sync HD and MachineControl to allow all the various sources to be captured as required. Our engineers then ensured the system was fully integrated into the rest of Splice’s Avid backend.
What were the benefits?
An extra audio room means Splice can take on more projects, and the size and power of their new Pro Tools system allows them to work faster than ever before, and take on challenging projects with tight deadlines that they wouldn’t have been able to hit previously.
“We’ve done a lot of system upgrades with Jigsaw24 over the years, they’ve helped us try and test various bits of kit and recording equipment, which we’ve then been able to recommend out to some of our own customers thanks to Jigsaw24.”
Damian Dolniak, Company Director, Splice.
