How did we help?
As well as providing iPad, resources and technical support through our e7 Project, we designed and deployed an Aruba WiFi solution that would give Silverdale the coverage and capacity they needed.
What were the benefits?
Students now work on a device that can be customised to suit their individual learning needs, and apps have been instrumental in improving students’ fine motor skills, working memory and social cognition. Parents and teachers can use the device as a behaviour management technique as well. The students also have access to a richer range of resources at home, and have all made progress in literacy and phonics.

Who are Silverdale School?
Silverdale School in North Tyneside is a BESD school and ARP provider. They cater for up to 60 students aged 7-16, each with complex individual needs. Their pupil behaviour and safety was recently ranked as Outstanding by Ofsted.
