IP Workflow in Action for Video

Wednesday 12th April 2017

5.30pm-8pm • 8 Golden Square, Soho W1F 9HY

Are you looking to make the jump to an IP-based video workflow but getting cold feet? We’re opening the doors of our service and customer experience centre in Soho to a panel of IP experts and early adopters who’ll be discussing the challenges they faced when embracing the new technology and how they overcame them, and how IP workflow has opened up lots of fresh production possibilities that simply weren’t feasible before. Plus, we’ll be taking an honest look at where the technology is now and what challenges remain for those using it.

After all that, the team will be laying on some bevvies and nibbles for you to enjoy while nattering and networking. If you’re concerned about the technicality of IP workflow, the compatibility of your existing kit and whether or not it’ll remain futureproof in the years to come, this one’s for you.

Who’ll be there?

Wesley Dodd - Chief Executive, Celebro Media
Celebro Media are a London and Moscow-based production company that provide facilities, resources and expertise to producers the world over. They used an IP-based NDI workflow to stream during the 2016 Turkish military coup.
Mark Gilbert - CTO, Gallery Sienna
Gallery Sienna has provided end-to-end digital media infrastructure for news, sports and multi-camera production for 25 years. Having worked with video over IP for a few years now, they’ve been instrumental in pushing the possibilities of NDI.
David Skeggs - Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, root6
Following our landmark merger with Soho-based audio and video solutions provider root6, David will be joining the panel to provide a top-level insight into IP workflow while discussing the challenges it presents for the broadcast and post-production industries.

What’s the plan?

5.30pm – Registration.
6pm – Expert panel discussion.
7pm – Drinks, nibbles and networking.
