With PitStop Server it's easy to set up and manage PDF based workflows. It uses watched folder architecture to automate the inspection and correction of PDF files so large numbers of files can be processed without user intervention. You determine the folder PitStop Server needs to watch - which can be on a shared disk or server so it can be used by the entire office - PitStop Server will check the files and correct the errors as defined by you. PitStop Server can automatically correct the majority of frequently occurring errors, including missing fonts, missing bleed, image resolution, RGB or spot colours and ink coverage. It processes unlimited numbers of file simultaneously and supports all PDF versions up to 1.7.
New features in PitStop Server 13 include automated bleed creation, preflight restrictions, customizable preflight messages and much more. You can now create and edit action lists directly in the PitStop Server interface, and every feature is available through command-line.
