The 23" EIZO ColorEdge CS230 monitor is an entry-level display for creating and editing photography & digital art and offers professional features of other ColorEdge displays like automatic colour adjustment with the built-in SelfCorrection sensor. The 23" EIZO CS230 is perfect for demanding users in photography who need the predictable colour results and advanced features that the ColorEdge range provides but without breaking budgets. A whole range of features give the EIZO CS230 the edge when it comes to consistent colour. EIZO's patented digital uniformity equalizer (DUE) technology reduces fluctuations in brightness and chromaticity which is a common trait of LCD displays. When using DisplayPort input the CS230 displays 10-Bit simultaneous colour resulting in smooth colour gradations and reduced Delta-E differences resulting in accurate and predictable colour. The built-in SelfCorrection sensor will maintain your calibration settings when using the optional ColorNavigator software and a third party calibrator so you can be sure of the consistency of your workflow. It will even self-correct when you computers turned off and you can set your own correction schedule to work around you.
The 23" IPS panel in the EIZO CS230 allows for wide viewing angles which reduces colour shift when the monitor isn't being viewed head on. Not only do you get advanced colour features with the CS230 but you'll also benefit from excellent ergonomics. The stand features height adjustment, pivot, rotation and tilt functionality so you can position your monitor exactly how you want for maximum comfort and safety. For entry level photography and colour users working in the sRGB clour space, the EIZO CS230 is a clear choice.
A third party calibrator is required to calibrate this display. The built-in SelfCorrection sensor on the CS230 will self-correct to your initial calibration settings when used with the optional ColorNavigator software and your own calibrator. If you're looking for a completely automated calibration workflow, take a look at the EIZO CG246 or CG276 which have a Self Calibration sensor built-in!
