The Avid HD I/O audio interface for Pro Tools HD is a 16 channel audio interface that offers extremely flexible configuration options, including pristine analogue inputs and outputs and a complete range of digital audio connectivity. A completely redesigned analogue converter circuitry makes the Avid HD I/O ideal for any quality-critical recording application. It also features Avid's new "Curv" soft limiter on all analogue inputs meaning you can track hotter signals without fear of clipping, and all HD I/O configurations feature real-time sample rate conversion.

This Avid HD I/O 8x8x8 gives you a balance of analogue and digital inputs and outputs, featuring: 8 channels of analogue input and output with 192 KHz conversion; 8 channels of AES/EBU; and 8 channels of ADAT I/O and stereo SPDIF. This configuration leaves one expansion bay available allowing an addition I/O card to be fitted.
