The Avid HD I/O audio interface for Pro Tools HD is a 16 channel audio interface that offers extremely flexible configuration options, including pristine analogue inputs and outputs and a complete range of digital audio connectivity. A completely redesigned analogue converter circuitry makes the Avid HD I/O ideal for any quality-critical recording application. It also features Avid's new "Curv" soft limiter on all analogue inputs meaning you can track hotter signals without fear of clipping, and all HD I/O configurations feature real-time sample rate conversion.
This Avid HD I/O 16x16 Analogue is ideal for anyone who wants to track a lot of live instruments or mix down in the analogue domain and features 16 inputs and outputs on analogue at up to 192kHz. Additionally, there are 2 channels of AES/EBU, 2 channels of SPDIF and 8 channels of ADAT available. This configuration uses all expansion bays so no further expansion is possible.
